That page is pretty decent.  The links on the bottom of the page are worth checking out, as well.

Also, if you get really desperate, and happen to have an Award bios, there's always apple_rom's bios patcher.

I was able to patch an "old" PI board from max 8,4 GB up to 128 GB.
Don´t forget to use the patched fdisk version if you prepare your large harddisk with a dos boot disk!
