To read troublecodes and sensor data you'll need a  scantool.  Here are a couple of places worth checking out:

Different scantools use different software.  In most cases the software provided by the scantool manufacturer works fine.

 i have alfa romeo 156 2.0 T.S 1999.
- is my car " OBDII compliant vehicle" ?
- car has OBDII interface.
- anybody know software to read ECU.
